🌿 Gokhru (Tribulus Terrestris): Health Benefits, Uses & Ayurvedic Remedies

Gokhru, also known as Tribulus Terrestris, is a well-known Ayurvedic herb widely used for improving respiratory health, digestion, kidney function, and overall strength. It has been traditionally used in Ayurveda for centuries due to its diuretic, anti-inflammatory, and rejuvenating properties.

🌬️ Benefits of Gokhru for Asthma and Breathing Problems

Consuming Gokhru fruit powder along with 2–3 dried figs three times a day for a few consecutive days may help provide relief from asthma and breathing difficulties.

Another effective Ayurvedic remedy includes taking Gokshura and Ashwagandha in equal quantities. Mix their fine powders with 2 teaspoons of honey and consume twice daily with 250 ml of warm milk. This combination helps reduce shortness of breath, respiratory discomfort, and general weakness.

🍽️ Gokhru for Digestion and Weak Digestive Power

Gokhru decoction is highly beneficial for people with poor digestion. Drinking 30–40 ml of Gokhru decoction mixed with 5 grams of long pepper (Pippali) powder in small quantities improves digestion and strengthens the digestive system. This Ayurvedic use of Gokhru is considered extremely effective.

💧 Gokhru for Kidney Stones (Natural Stone Removal)

Gokhru is known to naturally support the removal of kidney stones. Taking 1 teaspoon of Gokhru powder with honey, three times a day, may help break down stones and assist in their elimination from the body.

Alternatively, drinking 30 ml of Gokhru Panchang juice mixed with a glass of water every morning on an empty stomach helps cleanse the kidneys, intestines, and gallbladder, supporting the removal of existing stones and preventing new ones.
